At some point when I was a kid I tied a bandana around my thigh and thought I looked cool. I’m pretty sure this behavior was inspired by Breakin’ and not a hair metal band. It doesn’t really matter.

Old dog, new tricks…

This idea came down from Corporate headquarters…

This is one of those designs that begins with a lot of visual research, and then thoughts of “man, this has been done soooooo many times, how can I…” and in the end hopefully it works out. I think the flame type makes this one work.

This illustration was Jim’s idea, and I might have even thought it was a bad one at the time, like ” a dream catcher, really?”… but in the end he was right on, and it came out killer.

I’m kinda into tattoos for the most part, and I’m also kinda sick of tattoos in general. And though I’ve never tattooed anyone, I seem to have done quite a few of tattoo inspired drawings in the past ten years or so. Someday maybe. Maybe not.
