Max came to me with this idea loosely taken from an old chopper poster, combined with a modern stained glass mosaic look, the rest is history. Poster was printed on black velvet.

Back in high school I had stumbled upon a cassette tape of the Repo Man soundtrack. What was crazy and confusing was all this punk stuff in a movie…?.. I just didn’t know that happened. That tape pointed me in a lot of directions that I’m still following today. I had never seen the movie back then. I think I finally watched it when this series idea came along in 2011, sad but true.

I think Max came up with this idea, and I added he Devo hat. The Grim Scraper? Death comes Draggin’?

Zombie themed tee I did for Spitfire last year that came out really good. I don’t think I had really drawn guts before…? And yes I am huge Charles Burns / Black Hole fan.
